Welcome to Year 2!

Welcome to Mrs Kehoe and Miss Hall's Year 2 class page! On a Monday and Tuesday Mrs Kehoe is the class teacher, and Miss Hall teaches the class Wednesday - Friday.

PE: 

PE will be on a Tuesday and a Thursday. Children are expected to have their PE kit in school. If your child has earring they need to be taken out the morning before school or tape needs to be provided to cover them in the lesson. 

PE kit should consist of:

• White t-shirt or polo shirt
• Black or navy blue shorts or leggings
• Pumps or trainers
• Tape for earrings if they cannot removed.

Any child with earrings that cannot be removed will not be taking part in PE.

Homework

The children have been assigned logins for Numbots and should try to practise a couple of times a week. We encourage the children to read as much as possible at home; the number of reads they complete is recorded, and when they reach certain milestones, they can earn certificates. In addition to Numbots and reading, we send home spellings each week for the children to practise in preparation for their spelling test the following Monday. These spellings are all linked to what the children have been learning in class.
