Nursery Provision

Our nursery is a great start to your child's learning journey into education. We provide an early education which will promote independence, develop language skills and support all areas of development. We offer a provision which encapsulates and acknowledges the interests of the children by providing learning opportunities both inside and outside, meeting the individual needs of all our children. We give children opportunities which will scaffold their learning and encourage them to become risk takers, problem solvers and investigate the world around them. 

All children are entitled to 15 hours free provision from the age of 3.  This funding can be used for any part of the nursery day. We aim to be as flexible as possible with your child’s hours. We offer full day, morning and afternoon sessions.

Session Times

The timings for Nursery are as follows and children can combine sessions:

Morning Nursery: 8:45am – 11:45am

Afternoon Nursery: 12:15pm – 3:15pm

Full Day: 8:45-3:15pm

Please note, from September 2022, we will no longer be recruiting for our two year old provision.

Wrap around care

Breakfast club (Early Birds) from 7.40am and Afterschool club (After Owls) until 5.30pm can also be used by our nursery children and you can use your funded hours towards these sessions.

Nursery Funding

Additional nursery sessions are charged at  £13.20 for three and four year olds per three hour session. We believe we are a very affordable childcare option.

We take vouchers and you may use your 30 hour entitlement with us.  To check your eligibility or apply for an additional 15hrs of free provision visit the Worcestershire Children's First website.

Tax Free Childcare

Families can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year ).

If you get Tax-Free Childcare, you’ll set up an online childcare account for your child. For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 for you to use to pay for your place at our nursery or wrap around care.

You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 30 hours free childcare if you’re eligible for both.

Your eligibility depends on:

• if you are working
• your income (and your partner’s income, if you have one)
• your child’s age and circumstances
• your immigration status
